Thalassianthid Sea Anemones

I am a current Ph.D. candidate at The University of Kansas, under the supervision of Dr. Daphne Fautin. I am interested in the systematics of sea anemones (Order Actiniaria). My graduate research will involve a taxonomic revision of the family Thalassianthidae. These are shallow water, tropical anemones that have complex tentacle morphology. I am the curatorial assistant for the Division of Invertebrate Zoology at The University of Kansas Natural History Museum, where many of the voucher specimens collected for the CnidToL project will be deposited.
